What to Bring
Just an open mind, really. No horse experience is required.
All activities take place on-the-ground. There is no riding involved.

 

What to Wear
Closed-toe footwear is a must. (No crocs, sandals, etc. Sneakers are fine.) Please consider wearing clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting dusty or dirty. In terms of climate, we have covered areas in which to work, but there is no heated or air conditioned space. Be prepared for temperatures, precipitation, mud, etc.

Driving Directions
HV HorsePlay is located at 98 Sherman Road, Kerhonkson, NY 12446. VISITS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY

This is a private property at the end of a residential drive.

Speed limit on the farm is posted at 10 MPH. Neighborhood speed limit is 25 MPH.

From Rt 44/55: Take Lower Granite Road and make immediate left onto Sherman Road. Follow to its end where pavement becomes gravel drive. Continue out to buildings in the back and park on stone, facing jump field. No cars on grass please.

 

Drive time from New Paltz: approx. 25 minutes Drive time from Ellenville: approx. 10 minutes Drive time from Kingston: approx. 28 minutes

Appointment Times
We have no “waiting room” so please do not arrive more than 10 minutes early, and be prepared to leave when your appointment is finished to allow other clients the same focus and privacy.

Cancellation Policy: Missed appointments are billed at the full rate. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment we will appreciate as much notice as possible:)

Bathroom Facilities: Portable unit on site.
